Couples Know Honesty · Presented by Pathway Coaching
You never agreed on how you talk to each other.
You just fell into it. Habits from your parents, past relationships, learned responses. We call that communication and hope it holds.
The real issue
At work, we would never run a team that way.
We write it down. We train it. We spend money on it. The expectations and the SOPs are clear.
At home, most of us wing it. Every couple hits the same list anyway. Money, parenting, intimacy, family, work, what happens next. Underneath nearly all of it sits the same thing.
You have built a life together. It is worth building the way you communicate, too.
Most tools help you survive a difficult conversation when one shows up. This goes underneath that. It changes what the two of you agree to, so you have real conversations all the time instead of difficult conversations sometimes.
The model
Open + Honest = Real Communication
100% honest. 100% open. It is simple. Simple is not the same as easy.
Honesty
Being truly and freely yourself, speaking into what you want and how you feel.
Openness
Listening without reservation, putting your needs and wants on pause for the person across from you.
In the room
A workshop, not a lecture.
Nobody sits and listens for two and a half hours. You learn the Know Honesty model and then use it right there, together, on one real area of your own life.
This is not counseling, and it is not only for couples in trouble. It is for any couple who wants to take a good relationship further. Newlyweds, thirty years in, and everyone between.
You will leave with
- The Agreement. A common language for honesty and openness
- An understanding of what blocks your communication. Fake You, The Wall and The Still
- One real conversation, already started. The time and the tools to put Know Honesty into practice before you leave the room
- The Know / Want / Do framework, and Our Pursuit for the two of you together
- Clear next steps
For couples
Come to the next one.
Two and a half hours. Dinner, the model, and one real conversation of your own before you leave the room.

For hosts
Host a Couples Know Honesty night.
You bring the room and the invitations. I bring the workshop. Your people get something they will actually use at home that week.
Something they will use
Not a mug and not another seminar. A tool that changes the conversations they have at home, on the things that matter most.
Build trust with both people
Most relationships, professional or personal, are strong with one of the two. This puts both of them in the room, engaged, with a shared language.
They bring friends
Every couple is invited to bring another couple. The people who show up came because someone they trust asked them to.
You provide
- The location
- Invitations to your people
- Any hospitality, such as food and drinks
Know Honesty provides
- The 2.5 hour facilitated workshop
- A couples workbook for every couple
- Know / Want / Do worksheet
- Promotional and reminder email templates
- “Bring another couple” invitation language
- Registration and event description copy
- Your opening and closing talking points
- Post-event follow-up template
Financial advisors
It starts with communication, not dollars.
Money is consistently in the top three marriage issues. There is a page built just for advisory firms. What it does for your practice, the research behind it, and how it fits alongside a planning meeting.
After the workshop
Change takes work and time.
You don’t have to do it alone. Couples coaching is six one-hour sessions over six months. The two of you work through Know / Want / Do together, including a foundation session where you align around your mutual foundational value.
$250 per session. Six sessions over six months.
Why this one
This is the one I would want every couple to have.
I have worked with couples for over 25 years and taught much of the marriage material out there.
Everything rises and falls on our ability to truly communicate with one another.
I grew up in a dysfunctional family where nobody outside the house knew what was really going on. We faked it and we put up walls. Today I have a great marriage and adult kids, and we live out this model. It has made all the difference.
